Internship Program at Hotserve Legal
At Hotserve Legal, we believe in nurturing the next generation of legal professionals. Our internship program is designed to offer law students a meaningful opportunity to gain practical exposure to litigation, corporate advisory, regulatory work, and real-world legal practice. We value interns who bring energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for learning.
Eligibility & Selection
The internship is open to:

Students who have completed at least two years of a 5-year integrated law degree (B.A. LL.B / B.B.A. LL.B).

2nd and final year students of a 3-year LL.B program.
-
Students awaiting final-year law examination results.
-
LL.M students.
-
International law students enrolled in recognized institutions abroad.

Applications should be sent 30 to 45 days prior to the preferred internship start date. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a brief interaction or assessment.

Internship Experience
During the internship, selected candidates will:

Work on live assignments under the supervision of assigned mentors

Be involved in research, drafting, client meetings, and case prep (where applicable)

Submit a project and deliver a presentation on a topic assigned by the mentor

Receive regular feedback and guidance throughout the program
Presentations are expected to reflect originality, legal insight, and structured thinking. Interns are encouraged to think critically and creatively.
Post-Internship Formalities
At the conclusion of the internship, students are required to:

Submit a two-page internship report summarizing their experience

Complete an Internship Finalization Form

Present their research project to fellow interns and firm professionals
-
Optionally, submit a short academic paper on a legal issue explored during the internship
Upon successful completion, interns will receive a formal Internship Certificate.
Dress Code
-
For Female Interns: Semi-formal Indian wear or western formals (collared shirts and trousers)

For Male Interns: Formal shirts and trousers; clean-shaven with neat grooming

Casual Attire: Allowed on Saturdays (excluding court visits); jeans and clean sneakers are acceptable. Loud colors and flashy prints are discouraged.
Office Hours
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Second and fourth Saturdays are non-working.
Do’s & Don’ts

Bring your own laptop for the duration of the internship

Usage of USB drives/pen drives is strictly prohibited

Maintain confidentiality and do not share internal documents or client information

Professional conduct and decorum must be maintained at all times
Stipend
This is a non-paid internship. However, based on your performance, you may be considered for future employment opportunities with Hotserve Legal.
